As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the Blue Aqua product sales strategy in Indonesia, providing leadership to the sales team and giving key customer inputs into the development of sales strategy, across all product and service categories. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and growing revenue in the aquaculture industry.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience selling animal feed additives, ingredients, or premixes
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership position in a Sales or Marketing role leading a team
  • Strong leadership qualities to manage a team serving a diverse customer base
  • Experience collaborating and contributing to strategy development, execution of plans, and accountability for the achievement of such plans
  • Attention to detail, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills are required to form strong customer relationships and convey complex or technical information to customers
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia and occasionally internationally
  • Work closely with the Blue Aqua Team on the execution of the Indonesia Sales strategy and provide key customer inputs into the development of the Blue Aqua Products
  • Defines and executes the Indonesia Sales strategy for PT Blue Aqua Indonesia 
  • Builds sales talent and succession bench with diverse, high-potential, and high-performing talent
  • Responsible for Indonesian sales targets, execution of sales excellence tools
  • Overall responsibility for account planning and management
  • Manages key farmers and provides personalized product sales support 
  • Responsible for setting and supporting sales forecasts and budgets for Indonesia
  • Work with customers to develop strategies and solutions that are appropriate for different segments within the market, particularly for direct expansion into farms
  • Identify product and technical developments within the industry, e.g., competitor product launches, product applications, etc.
  • Attendance at Industry events as a representative of PT Blue Aqua Indonesia 
  •  country leadership team inclusive of customer events, seminars
  • Organize, plan, and execute projects, surveys, reports, and various tasks as needed to gain insights into customers and markets
  • Maintain an understanding of current national and international regulations governing farm care, feed, and industry developments relevant to PT Blue Aqua Indonesia 
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve product offerings and customer experience
