Blue Aqua International is a global leader in sustainable aquaculture solutions. We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at the Blue Aqua Farmers Center in India. You will oversee daily financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and implement efficient processes using modern accounting tools like Zoho or Odoo. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a fast-growing team and play a critical role in managing finances and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, payables, receivables, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and monthly balance sheets.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Zoho Books or Odoo ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with local taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of accounts and bank statements.
• Assist management with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial reporting systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in agriculture or small-medium businesses.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, Odoo ERP, or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Excellent Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience automating accounting processes using ERP tools like Odoo or Zoho.
• Knowledge of cost management in agriculture/aquaculture sectors.
• Familiarity with financial audits and preparing for external reviews.
